The 2×4 Matrix HDMI Switch & Splitter also has a built in, automatically adjusting amplifier. This means that you can use longer than normal HDMI cables running to the inputs. The built-in amplifier will then regenerate the HDMI signal before sending it to the outputs. This lets you extend beyond the normal range (25 feet) for High Speed (1080p) signals.
